Shoe-box Makeover!
This week I tried out sticker charts with my nanny children, and was a great way to reward good behavior! (Look at previous post for sticker charts!) The kids filled out their sticker charts and impressed me with their awesome behavior, so I decided I needed to make a prize box to keep all of the cool rewards in! I was looking around at different stores, but nothing seemed to grab my attention, so I decided to do my own DIY prize box. I found an old shoe-box, and a few pieces of scrapbook paper and ribbon did the trick! Viola...a great place to store prizes for the kiddos!

Incentive Chart Freebie!
Incentive Charts are a great motivation tool for children in the classroom...or even at home! I have found it very successful to use these sticker charts with my nanny children. (It also gives you a chance to buy fun and colorful stickers!) These charts reward children for positive behavior and once they earn enough stickers, they have the chance to receive a reward!
In a classroom setting, each student can choose a sicker chart and put it on their desk or folder. The teacher can talk with the students about what behavior is "sticker-earning-behavior," once the expectations are clear, you can begin rewarding children for great behavior!
